Finding Apple’s student discount is easy – just head to the student section of Apple’s online store. Discounts vary across the product range and change regularly – so keep an eye out for savings on your favourite tech.

What products are available for Apple student discount?

You can get your hands on some amazing deals. One of the most recent Mac student discounts was to buy an eligible Mac or iPad for your university study and get a pair of brand-new AirPods for free. Other offers include 20% off AppleCare+.

As expected, any deals with amazing freebies have limited availability. So, if you’re not in a rush and there isn’t a deal on, it might be worth waiting to see if something better comes up. You could save yourself £159.99 on the price on brand-new AirPods, for example.

Students can also bag themselves three-months of free Apple Music and Apple TV+ access. And once the extended free trial is over, you can get continue listening to your favourite music at a reduced student rate of £4.99 p/m for both services.

Plus, you could save up to £100 on MacBook and iMac models, though discount availability is product dependent.

When it comes to iPad student discount, you can save up to £80 – again, depending on the different models.

Unfortunately, there’s no iPhone or Apple Watch student discount, as yet. Be sure to check Apple’s T&Cs for more information about what products are eligible for a discount.

How to get student discount?

It’s really easy to get Apple student discount. You can register using the student discount service UNiDAYS. It’s free to register and it unlocks discounts for a range of other amazing stores.

Alternatively, if you’re not registered with UNiDAYS, you can verify your student status directly with Apple – you’ll just need your student ID ready.

Save with trade in

Do you have an old iPhone lying around? With Apple releasing new iPhone lines every year, you might feel it time for an upgrade. With Apple’s trade in scheme, you can save some of the cost of a brand-new iPhone, simply by handing in your unused Apple items. Trade in an eligible item and you’ll get either credit towards your next purchase, or an Apple Store Gift Card to be used anytime. Everything from iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches and Macs can be traded in (depending on the model). And if your device can’t be traded in, Apple will recycle it for free! Do all students get Apple discount?

Yes! All current and recently accepted university students can get access to Apple’s student pricing. Parents who are buying on behalf of their children heading to uni can also get access to the discount. Just have the acceptance letter or your child’s student email address to qualify.

How do I know what products are included?

You’ll have access to the Apple Education Store and everything on there is available with discount. You may get extra deals, such as free accessories, but these will be confirmed in the T&Cs (a qualifying purchase is likely).

Is Apple student discount available in store?

Yes! Simply show your student ID at the checkout and you’ll get access to student offers. You can also order online for in-store collection.

Is Apple student discount available all year?

Yes, Apple student discount is available throughout the university year.  As long as you’re enrolled at a university, you are eligible for student discount for the duration of your study.

Does Apple have a sale?

Apple don’t have sales throughout the year. However, in 2020, they offered free gift cards with certain purchases between Black Friday (fourth Monday in November) and Cyber Monday (the first Monday after Black Friday). So if you have your eye on something, it might be worth waiting until November to see what else you can get with your purchase.
